I went camping a while back and had a bunch approach our campsite at 2 in the morning. We got a big fire going to hopefully keep them away. They probably smelled my nasty catfish bait.
How dangerous are coyotes?

Generally they aren't a big concern to humans but they are wild animals. Attacks on humans are very rare but do occur from time to time. Livestock and pets are the big concern because of rabies and loss of life.

We got one more in February for a total of 20. Haven't heard or seen any signs since. Lots of new deer and seven turkeys roaming around.
