The lights can be seen most nights. For the folks that live up in the Cherokee Creek and Macedonia areas, all you have to do is look east toward Gaffney. They can usually be seen just north of hwy. 11.

Bubba, my new cellphone has Google Sky on it. Supposedly, which ever direction I aim the phone, it shows the name of the planets/stars... According to it, the bright light in the Western sky is.... (drumroll)... Venus.
Don't know if it's right or not, but that's what it says anyway.

Maybe I just have a different view of everything since my illness, but it seems to me that all of the stars in the sky in my area of the county are bigger and the brightest that I've ever seen them. Absolutely a sight to behold and beautiful.
