I saw a calico deer this evening on the way home from eating. It was a few feet from where I saw the coyote a few weeks back. Its within two miles of where I hunt, oh it was a buck.

We need to get with Burgess before the season starts... He's been bush-hogging over there some. He has put a stand up, on your side of the pipeline, the next hill over, between your stand and mine. I don't much like that. It's a little too close. But I don't know how often he plans on using it. He has one up on the road going in too, on the left side.

The ones I see usually come from where his stand is now so that won't be good for my hunting at all.

I'm sure you'll find a way to nail a bunch of them.

I'm broke now because I ordered a rifle this morning. I sold one of my "other rifles" so I could afford it. Its a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308 Win and it should be here in three weeks.

I hope to get one deer with the new rifle if all possible.

Have you been over there to check around your stand yet? That old strap that's holding it up probably needs to be replaced before it rots off. I'll try to go over there within the next day or two and see if the area needs to be bush-hogged. If it does, I'll try to get it taken care of before the season starts.

I try to find a replace for the strap. I haven't been ove yet because my truck it loaded down with boat parts. I've been meaning to swing by but my head has hurt everyday for the last three week. Its the changing of the weather I think. Don't be to surprised if I knock on your door soon.
