All I've ever seen of groundhogs is one at a time.

I can believe you saw one get hit up around Landrum, not far from my house, about 7 miles. This is supposed to be horse country up here but I think it ought to be turkey city. I've seen my share of them, flocks of them just wandering around everywhere-so pretty.

There's a split rail fence in front of my house. I've heard that blue birds like to build their nests around fences. We have lots of blue birds up here. We got a "SEE ROCK CITY" birdhouse on our last trip to the mountains and the "sheriff" put it up on a 10 ft pipe this weekend. I'm looking at it every now and again, trying to spot a snake trying to rob it. We have a nest on our deck and it had eggs in it but they either hatched out or something got to them because we had shells lying on the deck one morning. There's alot of old mean catbirds around here and I've got a nice rifle for those and the cat next door too.

I don't see much at work but on the ride home at night I see plenty. Over the last few weeks I've seen a raccoon several times pretty much in the same place. I've also seen over one hundred deer sure they are mostly the same ones but not all of them because a few have been hit.

Lots of deer around since we thinned out the coyotes. I saw 25 together earlier this year, now they group about 8 or 10. We have a mama turkey out in the field, and too many squirrels again. All kind of song birds.
