The floors were weak and the steering was very hard to turn. Also I wanted to make it a center console for easier loading. It needed to be more fishable to me. I ordered a bimini top so I can fish during the summer a little more also.

Pontoons are great to shrimp from too !!! That is a blast when you get where they are running. We have caught 5 gallon buckets before, had to start popping the heads off so we could stay within the 5 callon limit per boat in Fl. But boy is it fun. It can wear your butt out too! The net gets pretty heavy with shrimp.

Nope. Salt-water isn't good for freshwater motors.
