Anyone picking favorites for 2010's Governor election?
I don't know yet who will run on the Democratic side. As far as the Republican side goes, as long as it's not current S.C. Attorney General McMaster I haven't decided who I like. I've seen McMaster repeatedly play politics with the law, and I've grown to despise him, and others like him.

I don't have an idea who is going to run. It will be interesting to me who does run.

I want to know more about the lady that's running. I think her name is Nikki Haley or something similar. I know she graduated from Clemson, so she ain't no dummy like some of the above mentioned. HAHA!

State Senator Vincent Sheheen appears to be the leader on the Democratic side. He formerly served in the S.C. House, and served as a city prosecutor. He attended Clemson, and USC Law. So far he has raised almost $1 million for his race. Not too shabby. He also has some major endorsements, including the popular mayor of Charleston. www.vincentsheheen.com/about-vincent

Still waiting to see who makes it to the semi-finals. How about the comment the LT. Gov. said the other day. Gotta admit that he said a few things that made sense. Havn't seen to many with the guts to speak the truth. Still don't like the guy, but he did catch my attention. Let me know if you happen to here any candidates saying anything similar or just jumping on his band wagon.

The primary elections were held today.
On the Republican side there will be a runoff election between Nikki Haley and Gresham Barrett.
On the Democratic side, Sheheen won the nomination.

As far as the Republican runoff, for various reasons I have to throw my support behind Gresham Barrett. I may or may not support him in the final election in November (I haven't yet decided.)

I'm leaning towards Barrett.
