The area I hunt is loaded with them. My aunt moved across the county and I might get the chance to coyote hunt over by Lake Thicketty.

Where do I find out about coyote hunting? I've seen a couple late afternoon running across an open field, but I need some particulars on when and where.

Coyotes are open season year round on private lands. They can be shot with any caliber. They can be hunted at night but no lights can be used.

I think spotlights should be allowed on private land. Just my opinion...

Should be but they won't because some folks would shoot deer.

I'm buying a electronic call tomorrow from a guy here at work. I hope to use it as soon as it dries up enough to get to the stand I use during deer season.

My wife spoke with some folks at the vets office and they think a coyote got hold of their dog. She said it had a big chunk out of its back.

I have been hunting pretty hard for the last couple of weeks. I am glad to report that they are 2 less coyotes in cherokee county.
