A friend of mine posted this story (that happened to her) on facebook - I thought it worth sharing.
The other night we had some motorhome problems. It was late at night and we needed to feed the babies. My friend and I put them in the stroller and walked to the store. We found some gluten free things and had to heat them up using the store microwave. We sat at a table there and fed the kids. We were tired and grumbly. We were unaware that a homeless man was watching us. He said he was sorry we were homeless .
He said he felt blessed that he fell on hard times after his kids were grown so they never had to suffer like ours. He was so touched abd offered us his gov. Issued cell phone to try and locate our family. We were very humbled as we walked back out to our motorhome. God bless that sweet man and keep him safe. He had so little yet wanted to help us. We haven't complained again.
We didn't have the heart to tell him that our motorhome was down the street. I don't think I will ever forget his example.
