Since they can't keep people at work they are talking about working 50 hrs every week. Right now we work a 40 hrs week then a 50 hrs week. Some people are working 60 hrs weeks but not all of us.......yet.

Well, put some of that overtime pay aside for you and the wife to take a good vacation when that time rolls around.

What kind of gun would that be? Sure are getting plentiful around here. I laughed outloud at a newsperson one morning when he was talking about sightings of coyotes in our area. He said that they posed no threat to humans-period. What about the ones that jump out of the bushes and attack? I've heard that one on the news. I just think that we don't need them running about. I mean, well, we have to keep dogs on a leash so I am thinking the only way to rid ourselves of them is to shoot them. There's no way we could round all of them up and put them somewhere and they are really multiplying. They pose a real threat to someone like you, RR, in the fact that you have chickens. Anyway, that's a great way to spend some of your overtime pay.

Well, I'm here again at last.....you wouldn't believe. We called Charter to fix one channel on our tv that had gotten fuzzy..Cspan.
Would you believe that they went on the pole outside and tried to fix it and then left something loose and caused me to be disconnected from the internet altogether...no email, no forum...and that was last Wednesday.and here it is the following Tuesday. Talk about my nerves......
Everybody Okay?

Did you suggest to Charter what they needed to do with the pole? Have you switched to some other company?
(Do you need to remind me this is not the question thread?)

Yhat's ok Ele. We all get a little upset when we don't hear from Pinky for awhile. Glad to see that Pinky has got some of the problems fixed. We missed you Pinky. Now if we can just get Old Gal on here regularly, we'll have a good time. We need all the help we can get with some of these woodchucks and river rats, squirrellys and popos

I'm going to Florida April 1st to pick up my dad from my uncles house. Its way cheaper for me to drive down than it would be to let them bring him home. They wanted him to come down but he had to buy all the gas when he went down. I told him that was bullsh*t and I would come get him when the time came for him to come home. I'll have to miss one day of work but so be it.

Well, RR, that will give you some time off...but you will be tired when you come home, long ride, but I don't blame you. If they asked him to come down, looks like they could have paid for at least half of the gas for him, I think.
I'd really love to see Florida again. I used to have several aunts and uncles on both sides of my family living in Miami and Springhill, Florida. I don't like Miami, but I loved Springhill..on the gulf. But all of them have died now, on both sides of the family.
I've had some rich aunts and uncles, especially the ones living in Pigeon Forge, but they died and had too many children....to share the wealth. And now most of their children have died except for one in Pigeon Forge and she has had a stroke and has kids of her own.
Sounds bad of me, but I bet one of those aunts had all the money tucked in her coffin to keep anyone else from getting it, if she had anything to do with it. Stingy and mean.....softened up a little before she died, though. She and her husband had so much money, he comitted suicide because part of his land was taken......probably to build up Pigeon Forge. They owned the old Mill with the Water wheel at one time in Pigeon Forge...the one you see in pictures.
