Did anyone watch the Sheriff on Fox News tonight?
I think he did a good job defending himself against the lady (the blond) who disagreed. with him about the ladies getting their CWP permit. It wasn't the Judge on Fox who disagreed.......the Judge agreed and understood his reasoning behind his idea.
The lady in opposition said, if you don't see a gun, you can't shoot someone who rapes you.
How many women who are packing, are going to stand there and do nothing while a man forces her to take her clothes off, just to find out if he is armed before they Fire their gun?? NOT I!
I agree with the Sheriff.. That would be too late, by then. The second you feel like your life is in danger is the time to act.

In South Carolina, I don't think you have to "see a gun" before you can shoot. If you feel your life is in danger, then you can shoot, from my understanding. For example, the guy in Spartanburg last week didn't actually see a gun when he shot that trespasser, and he will face no charges. That is the way it should be, of course. I find an intruder in my home, they are gone. Someone tries to carjack me, they are gone. Someone tries to harm my family or myself, they are gone.

Your home, yard and car are part of the castle law. You can protect them by any means necessary if you feel threatened.
