And what makes them better? What have ya been up to? Been making the little squirells homeless? Got a question for you Hokie. When will be the best time for me to plant my Crepe Myrtle trees? For that matter any tree that already has well established root base? Something about the ground temp. making it more or less favorable for planting time??

Winter is always best to plant trees. See, just prior to winter they store 'sugars' for the spring growth. So, have them in the ground where you want them and when spring comes around, the tree will use the 'sugars' to build a new root system at the new site.
That will be a modest $2 charge. Cash only........................grins!

I didn't know any of that but it does make alot of sense. the sheriff agrees with you on fall being the best time to plant but he didn't know about the "sugar" thingy either. LOL, he said to tell 'ya that the check for $2 is in the mail and he thinks you did that job too cheap. He said to tell 'ya that he would charge $5.

Yes...took a little sabatical from the forum. Ya know, there is a lot of stuff to do and to get done rather than look at a little blue screen.....no offense to the management.
I gotta plant young trees so's I can cut'em when they grow up.
Still awaitin' on those polish chicken pics.............sounds like the start of a very bad joke............just sayin'.
