WOW! Thomas you have turned into a rather nice Chicken Farmer. Bet you could find a good market around Easter for the colored eggs? Any idea of what is going on in the Forum? Was unable to access it earlier. Of course my first thoughts went to "Has Obama and the FCC already struck?!

My wife said yesterday there was a black snake in the water bowl so not sure how that's going to play out yet.

Get you some snake away and put it around your pen. The chickens stay in the pen, right? The snake is most likely after the eggs and or chickens. You don't want to kill the black snakes because they keep other poisionous snakes away but you don't want your chickens messed with either. That's kind of like a Mexican Standoff, eh? ;D

To MOST of us womerns, A SNAKE is a SNAKE, is a SNAKE!!! Love those pictures, RR. And that beautiful black Rooster. I still can't get over those colored eggs! That could put the egg dye out of business. Can I ask a stupid question RR. But how do I ask it? Does one chicken produce different colors of eggs, or did that carton of eggs come from several different kinds of chickens? WEll, you know what I mean, I think. Or maybe if I go back and read this thread from 2010 when it started, I bet I have asked the same question before....Ha!

Each chicken produces a single color egg. If it Blue today then its blue tomorrow.
